Microtask is the hottest startup in Finland, focused on developing a solution for the global distribution of digital labor. We are going to change the way people work, all over the world.

To help us create this solution, we are looking for a Passionate Programmer to join our product development team.

You're regarded as the best programmer in your current team, but are looking for new challenges, doing demanding product development on a product you can call your own. As it happens, that's exactly what we have for you! Our core development team would love to have you working with them, delivering a scalable cloud based solution for distributing digital work in small microtasks all over the globe.

We're looking for a person who loves to create beautiful programs (not talking about UI), is able to work really fast, has the ability to use other people's work instead of reinventing the wheel and likes working in a group of highly talented and committed professionals.

The person we're looking for is a goal driven, articulate and enthusiastic software specialist with strong interpersonal skills, an attention to detail and a positive attitude. The ideal applicant will also have

• Experience with agile methods and scrum methodology
• Real life experience in working with large scale development projects
• Excellent Java coding skills
• Fluent in English and Finnish
• Participated in a few TopCoder competitions
